Today, I was driving my kids and they asked an interesting question:

“Dad, if you die well we have enough money?”

Wow, what a question. What would make them think of that! But honestly, it’s an important question to ask. What would happen to your family and their finances if you die? What about your existing debts or the things that you care about? (mortgage…)

Answer:

Everyone should have Life Insurance

Permanent Life Insurance - allows you to save lots of money, tax-deferred and gives you different options of payouts in the future. It’s more expensive, but for many people, it’s the right choice!

Term Life Insurance… offers a high dollar amount to be paid out to your family when you die. It is in effect for a certain amount of years and is available at a much more affordable fee.

Bottom Line: Everyone should have Life Insurance

It can be really scary thinking about death...but it’s important to plan for that possibility.
