The Smart plan for Roadside Assistance

I always recommend my clients to have access to roadside assistance.

You want to be able to call a professional to help you if you:

• Run out of gas

• Get a flat tire

• Need to jump your battery

• Lock your keys in your car

But you don’t just don’t want someone to call… You want it to be FREE! Right?

You don’t want to have to pay “an arm and a leg” to get some help with your car problems. 

However, I’ve noticed that some people are paying way too much for the same access to roadside assistance… 

Some people feel like they have to pay companies like AAA over $100/yr so they can have some peace of mind if they get a flat tire.

You shouldn’t do that.

Question: 

What is the SMART Plan for Roadside Assistance?

Answer: 

Add Roadside Assistance to your Auto Insurance!

It’s so basic but easy to miss… 

No matter the auto insurance carrier you have, you can ADD roadside assistance to your policy… usually for just $12 a year!

So, you tell me… what seems smarter…

Paying $12/yr or $100 for basically the same service?

Now, yes, AAA membership gets you a few other benefits like “discounts” for certain other services… but in most cases, for most people… it just doesn’t make economic sense. 

Also, when you call for roadside assistance… all the same tow truck services work with all the same companies. Chances are you’ll get the same guy to come help you. 

So you might as well pay less for the same service!

So I highly recommend that you call your insurance broker and make sure that you’ve added roadside assistance to your auto insurance!
