Spring is here (or coming) and it’s time to get on the road and explore the world! 

So here are 3 things to do before a road trip… regarding your Auto Insurance!


Answer: 

1. Make sure you have Roadside Assistance

If you get a flat tire or need a battery jump on a road trip, you can’t just call a local friend! Did you know that adding roadside assistance is usually only $10-18 more a year! As your insurance broker to add that for you. 

2. Get Rental Car Coverage

If you get into an accident while on a road trip… the trip doesn’t have to be over! While your car is repaired in the shop, will your insurance pay for you to get a rental car and keep going! Adding this feature is very, very affordable. 

3. Double-Check your coverage levels. 

If you hit an expensive car, are you covered? If an underinsured driver hits you...does your insurance have the liability to protect your family, your medical bills and the repairs to your car. Most people forget what their coverage levels are… so, ask your insurance broker to explain them to you again!
